News of North West Competitors at the European Championships
The North West had 3 representatives selected for the GB team at the 2006 European Championships in Metz, France this week.
In the Junior Trampolining team Jack Helme from City of Liverpool finished in 19th position individually. In the qualification for the Synchronised competition Jack and partner Tom Lewis (OLGA) were placed 2nd, unfortunately only one pair per country are allowed to progress to the final and Great Britain's pairing of Andrew and Michael Freeman were placed first in the Prelims.
In the Junior Double Mini Tramp Hanna Moses from Birkenhead qualified for the both the individual and the team final, the Great Britain team winning the silver medal and Hanna also winning the individual silver.
In the Senior Double Mini Tramp Nicola Pugh from Stockport also qualified fro both team and individual finals, the GB team winning the Bronze medal and Nikki placing 4th in the individual final.
