Individual competitions consist of three routines:
1. the preliminary round: a compulsory (set) routine
2. a voluntary round: no set routine.
3. a final round voluntary routine for the (10) leaders.
Marks are given for each of the 10 moves with bonuses for twists and somersaults.

At present the NW does not host Grade 5 and lower competitions

Synchronised (Synchro)

Synchro competitions are basically the same as Individual ones but performed simultaneously by two trampolinists (on separate trampolines) who aim to move identically.
Synchronised competitions consist of the same three routines as Individual ones. Marks are given as in the individual competitions with extra scores given for the similarity of the performances.

Sychro bouncers need to be able to complete their Grade 1 routine.

Double Mini Trampoline (DMT)

Each round requires a pass consisting of two skills, the first performed on either of two area of the DMT followed by the dismount onto a landing mat.
DMT competitions consist of four passes each with a different combination of moves
- two preliminary
- two final passes for the leaders
